Mr. John W. Davis II
Director – Entrepreneur in Residence
Successful history as a federal prosecutor, law and ethics professor, technology entrepreneur, and strategist with expertise in engineering, law, banking, communications and government relations, and a proven track record for directing budget planning initiatives, developing market strategies, and building highly productive teams while increasing market share and profitability. John has served as a consultant to the White House, numerous federal agencies and private companies by advancing promising commercial ideas and opportunities and assembling interdisciplinary teams to rapidly move those ideas forward by bringing those with complex problems together with those who can find and build solutions. At Harbor Bank, John is responsible for enterprise-wide governance and utilization of data as an asset, via data processing, analysis, data mining and information trading. John coordinates and manages data driven marketing strategy through various bank channels and serves as Director and Entrepreneur-in-Residence of the Joseph Haskins, Jr. Center for Community and Economic Development by providing technical assistance, capital access and entrepreneurship programming to businesses.
Mr. Davis received his BA degree in Economics at Howard University and Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law. He served in leadership roles on Boards of Directors for numerous non-profit organizations including Planned Parenthood of Maryland and others.
